Overview
Now is the time to get surfing! Join us for one of our morning lessons and learn the basics of surfing, surf awareness and beach safety.
We'll teach you all there is to know. Learn how to:
- identify the best & safest surfing location
- safely enter the water
- paddle out through the waves
-catch a wave
-ride the broken wave back onto the beach
-make the drop
-turn & surf the face of the wave
You'll be standing in no time!

This activity takes place in Solitary Islands Marine Park, Coffs Harbour.

Numbers
For every 8 surfers-to-be there'll be 1 professional and enthusiastic guide.
Session Time
Meet us at our office at 8.30am. Lessons are from 9.00am till 12.00pm.
Guidelines & Restrictions
Normal fitness is required to paddle the boards through the surf and it's recommended you are a confident swimmer. Health and fitness concerns should be discussed at time of booking. Remember to bring swimwear, towel and sunscreen. All other equipment is supplied.
. Your instructor is a highly trained professional whose responsibility it is to provide you with a safe and memorable experience. All guides are experienced surfers with extensive knowledge of surf conditions.
Waiver/Tour Contract must be signed prior to tour commencement.
Booking Insurance
It is recommended that you consider GoDo Booking Insurance. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.
Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Booking Insurance provider.
