Surf Lesson on Bondi Beach - 2 Hours
Description
This popular beginner surf session teaches you how to safely get out and up onto your first wave. Our Bondi surf school is Recommended by Sydney Top Ten - The Guardian (UK) and What's Doing in Sydney, The New York Times.
Here at Bondi you'll be taught in a small group setting of 6 students or less, so you get plenty of hands-on help. To build up your knowledge and confidence, we first start you out on the beautiful Bondi beach and teach you how to recognise surf conditions and practice your surfing technique before you get into the water.
Then it's off into the ocean, where you start off in broken waves - the white foam created after the waves run their course. You'll be amazed at how easy, safe and enjoyable it can be to learn to surf.
You will be provided with all the gear which includes wetsuits and soft foam surfboards.

Participant Guidelines
Learning to surf requires a basic level of fitness, enthusiasm and ability to swim minimum 50 metres. Please wear swimmers and remember to bring suncream and a towel. Wetsuits, rash vests and surfboards are all provided.
Our instructors go through a rigorous training program, which includes Bronze Medallion certification by the Australian Surf Lifesaving Association (the same guys who keep you safe between the flags) and Level 1 or higher surfing coaching accreditation. They're also a great crew to have fun with.

Session Length
This is a 2 hour lesson. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your allocated time.
Numbers on Day
We have the smallest class sizes in Australia! This gives you extra personal attention and a relaxed surfing vibe! Maximum class size is 6 participants with 1 fantastic and friendly, expert instructor!
Private 1 on 1 sessions are also available.
