Overview
You will be collected in a 4wd vehicle then driven along some of the most picturesque coastal viewing points north of the state, overlooking Cape Byron (Byron Bay) and it's famous 1903 lighthouse, we then head towards the Sub tropical protected Hinterland rainforests. All your food and equipment is transported for you!
Our guides will explain about the regions interesting local history and wonderful geography. Entering the World Heritage listed National Park in the 4wd vehicle we travel slowly to see all the wonderful tree species and changing landscapes.
Arriving at the spectacular 100m Waterfalls, en-route, we stop, have a stroll out to the purpose built viewing platform where you can marvel at the sheer drop and spectacular panorama.
Here our team will explain how your adventures will begin! An overview on the day's tour! Continuing up to the highest points in the forest, we unload all our high quality Cannondale cycling equipment and we begin to explain how the bikes operate, gears riding positions, helmets, gloves, helpful tips and stretching.
Your guides will lead the way, as you explore the wonderful forest environments. Mostly downhill trails so an average or active fitness is all that's required.
Stopping at natural beauty spots, snacks and fruits are provided throughout. And remember help is always close to hand should any problem occur.
Riding in this beautiful area is just magic... where upon reaching the end of 25-30 km trails your team will collect you and load up your mountain bikes.
Then, well deserved, we have our picnic lunches, juices, sweets, meet new friends and chat and laugh about the thrills of the day!
