Overview
This is the best way to indulge in a wine tour - aboard your personal helicopter. Your tour starts with a briefing from the very experienced pilot, then a scenic 15 minute flight to the Bass Valley Estate Winery. Your flight will take you from Phillip Island over Westernport Bay and into the hills, with views of French Island, the Dandenongs and even Melbourne on a clear day.
Located in the extremely picturesque Bass Valley, the Bass Valley Estate Winery is a small, family run boutique winery. On arrival you will be treated like a movie star. You will start with a personal tour of the winery by the head winemaker. Learn about the varieties the winery is known for including Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Riesling.
Then it's time for a scrumptious ploughman's lunch, full of local cheeses, home made damper and lots more tasty treats. All washed down with a glass of their award winning wines and finished with a fresh fruit platter.
Next, it's onto the important business of wine tasting. Wine is a complex subject - it can also be mysterious, obscure, pretentious, and embarrassing. However, with help from the head winemaker you will discover the full range and flavours their range of wines that have won numerous awards. The chance to purchase some stock to take home awaits you too.
After you've had your fill, you will board your helicopter again for the scenic flight home. This is truly a magnificent, once in a lifetime trip and not to be missed.

Numbers
As this flight includes a drink or two, we ask that it is for over 18's only. Seating on the helicopter is for 3 passengers although this is an ideal flight for couples.
Session Time
2 hours. Flight time each way is approximately 15 minutes with around an hour and a half on the ground exploring the winery.

There is a weight limit of 110kg per person. Over 18's only on this flight.
