Overview
Experienced fly fisher? This is the day experience taking in some of the most awe inspiring scenery. Your guide will show you the best places for some awesome fly fishing.
Want to learn fly fishing? No problem we can make the experience your introductory fly fishing workshop!
Your Full Day fly fishing tour starts with a 6.30am pick-up at your Greater Hobart accommodation and returns approx. 8.00pm. The day includes morning and afternoon teas, plus lunch and choice of non alcoholic refreshments (both hot & cold) and all fishing gear and waders.
Fly fishing is for wild trout on rivers and streams where you will be stalking the fish by walking the banks or wading, depending on conditions and choice of venue on the day. Our tours also cover your fishing licence.
Location
Hobart (Hobart - Tasmania)
The actual fishing venue will be determined by us on the day depending on factors such as weather, angler's experience and type of service chosen. If transport is required, then day trips are from greater Hobart.
Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.
Numbers
We do NOT mix bookings to maximise numbers. If you book as a single person, your tour will be one on one and if booked as a two person group then two on one etc. Maximum for a wild fish tour is three.
Session Time
Starts at 6:30am and finishes at 8:00pm
Guidelines & Restrictions
Participants must be 13 or over, able bodied with a fitness level to walk banks & wade gentle streams as a minimum standard. Please bring hat, sunglasses, suncream, towel and bottled water.
Please contact us the day before for confirmation. Early Spring & late Autumn recommend warmer undergarments, jumpers & shower jackets. Summer long sleeved shirts, trousers or jeans & thick socks. Warm weather proof outer garments all year round are advisable

Booking Insurance
It is recommended that you consider GoDo Cancellation Cover. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.
Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Cancellation Cover provider.
