Travel to Magnetic Island by Ferry (return trip)

Overview

In just 20 minutes, we will take you by ferry to the beautiful Magnetic Island. Aboard our air-conditioned vessel, you will have access to a licensed bar and snacks. We also have outside decks to catch the sea breeze.

With 3 ferries and up to 19 trips per day we take our locals and holiday makers across to the beautiful Magnetic Island.

You can choose to stay for a half day, full day or overnight. Once you have purchased your ticket, you are able to travel to and from the Island at a time that suits you.

Townsville (Townsville Region - Queensland)

This ferry service departs the mainland for Magnetic Island.

Numbers

We do not require any minimum numbers to run. We have a maximum of 300 passengers per trip.

Session Time

Passengers will be required to check in approximately 15 minutes prior to departure. The ferry ride is approximately 20 minutes to Magnetic Island Trips start from 5.35am and finish at 10.35pm daily.

Guidelines & Restrictions

There are no restrictions for passengers. We have facilities to cater for disable persons as well as luggage facilties with a limit of 20kg per piece. There is no smoking permitted on any vessel due to QLD public transport laws

Once you have purchased your ticket you can travel over and return at what ever times suit you.

Extra Info

Child rate applies for those aged 15 years and under. Family applies to 2 adults and 3 children.

Booking Insurance
