Overview
Day 1: 8.30am pick up from your accommodation or railway station. The days travel takes in both arid and rugged scenery. Lunch at Waukeringa Ruins Historic Site before arriving at our destination on one of the largest (1700 sq kms) working sheep stations in the Flinders Ranges. Accommodation is in comfortable historic stone shearers quarters circa 1860. While staying here take a walk through the shearing shed, feed the horses, or just take a quite moment to spot the birds and kangaroos. After dinner experience the wonder of an outback night sky. (Includes Lunch and Dinner)
Day 2: Today we travel to Wilpena Pound for a look around the visitor centre and picnic lunch. The afternoon is spent exploring the deep gorges and magnificent waterholes of Brachina and Bunyeroo. After a drive past the Great Wall of China followed by a refreshing stop at Blinman Hotel we head back to our sheep station. While staying in the shearer's quarters we have the opportunity to talk to the owners of this magnificent property and learn about the five generations of the family who have lived there.(Includes Breakfast,Lunch and Dinner)
Day 3: More exploring the area today, this time plenty of 4 wheel driving through Chambers Gorge, a magnificent deep canyon eroded into the ancient ranges. A short walk enables us to see Aboriginal rock engravings that are thousands of years old made by the Adnyamathanha people. In the afternoon, more adventure exploring the remote and spectacular areas of the Grindstone Ranges, which are all located on our property. (Includes Breakfast,Lunch and Dinner)
Day 4: Departing our property we head past Rawnsley Bluff and then follow the southern Flinders Ranges to Hawker and other classic towns in the lower Flinders, stopping to look at points of interest along the way. Lunch is at the award winning Maggies Rendezvous in Orroroo before returning to Broken Hill late afternoon. (Includes Breakfast and Lunch)

Numbers
A minimum of 2 participants for the tour to operate. A maximum of 8 participants in a group. Larger groups by arrangement.

Booking Insurance

Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Booking Insurance provider.
