Overview
Your day will start early at 20 minutes prior to dawn. After arriving at the Northam Airfield, hot tea and coffee will await you, toilet facilities are available and your pilot will brief you about the morning's proceedings.
You will then be taken to the chosen launch site where passengers are able to assist with the inflation of the balloons. All on board, the balloon lifts off for your flight of approximately 45 mins to 1 hour. Upon landing and packing up the balloon our retrieve crew will return you to Northam for Champagne and a sumptuous cooked breakfast. The perfect way to end a spectacular morning!
Hot air ballooning in Western Australia is seasonal - flights operate during the cooler months from early April to late November (the hot and windy summer weather in WA is unsuitable for ballooning).

This activity begins in Northam - approximately 100kms from Perth CBD. Please allow at least 1.5 hours for the journey.

Numbers
Our balloon fleet gives us the flexibility to fly smaller exclusive groups, or larger family gatherings and conferences. Our balloons can hold varying capacities: 4 compartments (holds up to 16 passengers) or 2 compartments (hold up to 10 passengers).
Session Time
You will need to allow 4-5 hours for the complete experience including coffee and briefing the balloon inflation, the flight, vehicle recovery and champagne breakfast. The actual flight will last approx 45mins to 1 hr. Available for bookings from April to November.
Guidelines & Restrictions
Please advise of weight and also if you have had a recent injury or surgery when we contact you to confirm your booking. Flights run daily subject to availability and minimum numbers between early April and late November. Dress according to the weather - we advise casual comfortable clothing (jeans and sneakers). Shoes must be flat, no high heels or open toed shoes permitted (waterproof is preferable). Hat, sunglasses and sun cream are a must. Minimum recommended age is 8 years. By law infants are not permitted to fly.
Our balloons are registered aircraft and have a Certificate of Airworthiness, and the Pilots who fly these balloons are Commercial Pilots licenced by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority. Our team of pilots are some of Australias most experienced aviators affording the company an unparalleled safety record.

Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Cancellation Cover provider.
