Introductory Sailing Course - 3 days/2 nights
Description
The beginner will be active in all areas on the boat with attention on how to use the equipment during basic manoeuvres as well as snorkeling and beach walks in one of the most beautiful class rooms in the world. On the day of departure, the crew will meet you at the Kiosk at the Abel Point Marina at Airlie Beach at the departure time. The vessel will head out to sea within a few hours following a full vessel and safety briefing. The places the vessel cruises during the week depend on wind and tide but are sure to include some of the best locations in the Whitsunday Islands.
We supply all training materials, safety equipment required, meals, linen, instruction and accommodation aboard the vessel. You will need to supply your own liquid refreshments [other than tea and coffee] and your own personal items. Naturally all our courses are conducted to the whim of Mother Nature. The instructors and the crew (ie you) will work out passage plans based on wind and tide as the cruise progresses. Throughout the trip we will ensure that you have a great time and cover all aspects of the syllabus.
